MAGENTA ACCENTS

Finally a sunny spring day that I could go out and enjoy! Suddenly the sun and all the flowers along with it decided to pop up. I so enjoy these day's, they gives me an instant feeling of bliss. This also was the perfect weather to wear something different than my winter coat. So I pulled out my sunglasses, trench and put on my new pants. by the way, these were a steal at 6 euro's! (sale ofcourse). I saw them and could not resist. With only 10 minutes to spare I rushed to the fitting room and cash register.  I don't wear much red, but this magenta, bordeaux red colour has turned me around this last winter.

I am wearing:
Trench, top, crop top, bag: H&M , pants: New Yorker,  Sneakers: Nike, Hair piece: thrifted, Watch: Swatch

Today's occasion was to go thrift shopping with my mom. And I did get a score! Found two things that I am really pleased with.
1= a metallic sand coloured two piece suit. It's by Emperio Armani and only cost me 15 euro's. I am so exited about this one but the pants have to be tailored. So I will get an update on that later.
2= A see through flowered robe that I can wear over and outfit.  And it was only 6 euro's. oh yeah!

BLACK BEAUTIES

There used to be a time that I had hardly any black shoes at all. Now I can not have enough of them.
Especially when they have a thick heel. It makes it easier to walk for long hours and just looks good too! Today I'm going to show you a few of my black shoes.

BLACK BEAUTIES from JFD on Vimeo.

1 The first pair are a pair of riding boots. I got them with a huge discount at a thrift store. At first they where 375 and I got them for 60! Yes, I did good. Unfortunately they are not so comfortable because they are made from very thick leather. I prefer to wear them with a short skirt, skort or short. But they are also very nice with a long see through maxi skirt.

2 The second pair I have bought from the Zara. Also in sale for 60 euros. They are made from soft leather and have a rubber sole what makes them comfortable to walk in. They are about 8CM high. They can be worn with almost everything!

3 The third pair are the highest of the lot because there is no plateau sole in this shoe. I really like seeing them from the back because of the hight and the straps around the ankles. These also cost.., 60 euro's from the zara.  They are 10 cm high

5 The fourth pair are one of favourites. I have had them for quite a while. They are very easy to combine and the cork makes them special. These also have a plateau which makes them about
7cm in stead of 11.

4 The last pair I have had for quite a while. I bought them in London from New Look. I think they cost about 20 pounds. Because they have a small plateau they are comfy to wear. So in fact they are not 10 cm but around 5cm high I think .

Also I have a new pair coming. They are already ordered (from Zara) but have yet to come in.  So I'm counting off the days. Here are some pictures from the website:

CROSSED LINES

So, normally I'm not that big on wearing crosses. I think I own two things with the cross symbol. The reason being it still represents something holy and with that being it should not be associated with fashion that much. I myself am not a strong follower of one belief. I think there are many good elements from many religions that guide me in my way. Like the common belief of doing good.

So yes, today I made an exception on a pair of earrings. The reason being they are plainly beautiful. Simple but yet so elegant.

FAVOURITES

Well it has been a while ago. I must admit I have been a lazy blogger. But yet a very, very (not over exaggerated)busy student.  In a small month I hope to be graduated. And with that I hope to up the frequency of my posts. For this post I have gathered up some of my favourite accessories. I have grouped them in rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. Under all the images you will be able to see where every peace comes from. You will see that I don't have that many expensive pieces. A big part is bought from street sellers. I find this is one of the places where you can find original things. When you buy them on travels it also assures you, you have something others don't. Also it helps hard working people make a living. Amongst some of those special items you will also find some H&M stuff, although I don't prefer buying accessories  there. As you might see from several easy made scratches and brown turned metal the quality is just terrible.  But what can you expect from cheep stuff. I do have to watch my spendings as I like to cook quality stuff and have my eye set on travelling.

PINK METAL

The chain is something I maid from a crystal stone, a old chain and some wire.  Wrapping the wire around the stone I made an attachment from the stone to the chain.
